This week I got access to DALLE-2 on the same day as NASA released the first photos of the Webb telescope. I couldn’t resist combining those two arguably the most advanced and super expensive technologies. So have a look at an astronaut surfing in a star-forming region called NGC 3324 in the Carina Nebula.
Advancing DALLE-2
Creating an impressive image using DALLE-2 is harder you one can think. I even had a sort of learning curve of how to use the tool. Recently, I run into DALLE-2 Prompt book. The book is a giant “how to”: authors cover different keywords, hacks, and insights to generate specific images. Genres, camera angles, lightning, etc. - guys made a good job.
Prompt is a sentence, 400 characters or less, that describes the image you want.
Some prompts can be found here.
This, actually, opens a whole new skill: the ability to work with prompts and design them. I can guess that in ~10 years some of the creative professions will require skills like that. Should I already put in my CV? :)
Catch my dog being a superhero - I think I mastered prompt design at least in this one.
P.S. Write you crazy prompts, let’s generate some!
